Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of getsprig.co.uk, your Sprig account, and any paid Sprig membership. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Sprig is currently operated under the Sprig trading name and has not yet been incorporated as a company. You can contact us at hello@getsprig.co.uk.

Sprig is designed for nursery owners, managers, and other early years professionals using it for business purposes. If you use Sprig wholly or mainly outside your trade or profession, any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

2. What Sprig provides

Sprig provides content templates, monthly content packs, sector briefings, AI-assisted personalisation, and tools for saving and managing nursery communications.

Features and the volume of content included may differ by membership plan. The plan description and price shown when you join form part of these terms.

We may improve, replace, or remove features where reasonably necessary. We will not materially reduce a paid membership without giving reasonable notice.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, protect your password, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your account is for your nursery or organisation. You must not share access outside that organisation, resell access, scrape the service, interfere with security, or attempt to access another member's information.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care.

4. Membership, prices, and payment

Paid memberships renew monthly until cancelled. The price, billing date, and any founding-member rate are shown before payment is taken.

A founding-member price remains available only while that founding membership continues without cancellation. If a cancelled membership is restarted, the price available at the time of rejoining applies.

Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. If payment fails, we may retry payment and suspend paid features until the account is brought up to date.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through the account area once billing is active, or by emailing hello@getsprig.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless the law requires otherwise.

After cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of that period. Payments already made are not normally refunded for a partly used month, but this does not affect any statutory right to a refund.

We will make cancellation reasonably straightforward and confirm when the paid membership will end.

6. Templates and AI-generated drafts

Sprig content is a starting point for your professional review, not legal, regulatory, HR, safeguarding, financial, or other professional advice.

AI-generated text may contain errors or unsuitable wording. You must check names, dates, fees, factual claims, links, legal wording, and suitability for your setting before publishing or sending anything.

You must not enter unnecessary personal data about children, families, or staff. You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to use any personal information you choose to enter.

7. Content rights

Sprig and its licensors own the platform, brand, interface, source material, and template library. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.

While your membership is active, we give your nursery a non-exclusive licence to use, edit, publish, and send content supplied or generated through Sprig for its own communications and marketing.

You may keep and continue using finished content you downloaded or saved outside Sprig during an active membership. You may not resell templates, publish the template library as a competing resource, or make it available to third parties as a standalone product.

You retain ownership of original information and wording you provide to Sprig.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Sprig available and secure, but uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, security incidents, or events outside our reasonable control may occasionally interrupt access.

We may suspend access where necessary to protect Sprig or its users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address non-payment.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Because Sprig is a business content tool, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, or anticipated savings arising from your use of content.

Subject to liabilities that cannot be limited, our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period will not exceed the membership fees you paid during that period.

10. Ending or suspending an account

You may stop using a free account at any time and ask us to delete it. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, creates a security risk, or uses the service unlawfully.

Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue before closure.

11. Privacy and general terms

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written agreement.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to Sprig, our providers, or the law. We will give reasonable notice of material changes affecting paid members.
